Kahuna needs valid push token from each iOS/Android device to successfully send push notifications. When mobile users disable push on their devices, the push tokens get removed from APNs (Apple Push Notification Service) or GCM (Google Cloud Messaging).
Push tokens aren't generated on iOS/Android simulators. Try enabling push on an actual device to guarantee push token is generated. Then, open the mobile app on that device which will send "start" event to Kahuna along with push token information. Once our server confirms valid push token with APNs or GCM, then Kahuna dashboard will display "Push Optimal" option for that user/device.
