How can I use the Attribute API?

The Attribute API can provide additional information on users that is not provided by the SDK. The Attribute API is the only way to update information about the user without updating the engagement state. Create an attribute for a specific field and send it through the Attribute API. For example, if a music streaming service wanted to engage customers based on updates from their favorite artist, the developer could add a “favorite artist” attribute and send it to the API.
